A vibrant hibiscus margarita served in a tall glass with a salted rim and garnished with a fresh lime wedge. The drink features a rich, deep red hue and is accompanied by a large, clear ice cube that enhances its refreshing appearance. The image is taken against a bright white background, drawing attention to the colorful cocktail.
Hibiscus Margarita!
Not only does the hibiscus add a vibrancy to the margarita’s color, it also infuses a lemony tart, cranberry like flavor into the drink. Hibiscus is well known for its large, vibrant flowers and is called the “Queen of Tropical Flowers”. The blossoms are big, trumpet shaped, and come in several bright colors. The flowers are gorgeous and unique. No other flower offers such a sense of dramatic. The hibiscus flower is very rich in vitamin C, minerals, and antioxidants. Hibiscus is used as seasoning in dishes in many countries worldwide. In India, hibiscus is boiled with sugar to create sweet, iced drinks. In China, flower petals are often baked into cakes. In Mexico, hibiscus is considered a delicacy.

Hibiscus margaritas are gorgeous, flavorful, and rich in nutrients. The perfect summer drink!

Hibiscus Tea
1 + 1/2 cup filtered water
1/2 cup dried hibiscus flowers
1 tbsp agave syrup
1 tbsp brown sugar

Bring the filtered water to a boil. Add the hibiscus flowers, stir, and remove from the heat. Allow the tea to steep for 30 minutes. Strain the tea into a container using a strainer. Add the agave syrup and the brown sugar. Stir to dissolve the sugar and the syrup and let the hibiscus tea cool.

Ingredients Hibiscus Margarita
3 oz tequila blanco
2 oz hibiscus tea
1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
1/2 oz agave syrup

Garnish
1 lime wedge
Sea salt for rim of glass

Glass
Rock glass

Pour into a cocktail shaker over ice cubes the tequila, hibiscus tea, freshly squeezed lime juice, add the agave syrup and shake well. Rub a wedge of lime around the rim of a rock glass and coat the rim with sea salt. Fill the glass with ice cubes. Strain the margarita into the rock glass and garnish the glass with a lime wedge. Large ice cubes melt slowly, ensuring your hibiscus margarita remains chilled, and won’t dilute your drink as quickly as standard ice cubes would. Consequently, I’m using an extra-large ice cube to ensure the hibiscus margarita remains ice cold while I enjoy this incredible beverage!

It’s a power-packed drink, designed for lions - and your lioness is bound to love it even more!
