Margarita Classic!
The 3-2-1 principle is fundamental for crafting simple yet perfect sour cocktails. This principle will allow you to mix tasty and well-balanced drinks:

3 parts alcohol (tequila, vodka, gin, rum, whiskey, cognac)
2 parts sour (freshly squeezed lime or lemon juice)
1 part sweet (liqueur like triple sec, or simple syrup)

Simply shake all ingredients vigorously over ice and strain into a cocktail glass. That’s it. Simple and delicious! Give it a try and witness how easily you can mix perfectly balanced cocktails.

Ready to make the perfect Classic Margarita?

Ingredients Margarita Classic
3 oz tequila blanco (3 parts)
2 oz Cointreau (2 parts)
1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice (1 part)

I like to add 1/2 oz agave syrup to the mix.

Garnish
1 freshly cut lime slice
Sea salt for the salt rim of the glass

Glass
Rock glass

Pour into a cocktail shaker over ice cubes the tequila, Cointreau, freshly squeezed lime juice, add the agave syrup, and shake well. Rub a wedge of lime around the rim of a rock glass. The natural moisture from the lime will help the salt adhere to the glass. Spread sea salt evenly on a small plate. Gently dip the wet rim of the glass into the salt, twisting it to coat the rim evenly. Fill the glass with ice cubes. Strain the margarita into the rock glass and garnish it with a lime slice. It is recommended to prepare the glass with the salt rim first before making the margarita.
